Deleting my site

  I got the installation wrong at the beginning. My site is only 75% complete. If I delete it now can I start again through Hostgater and still use my domain Silversurferscan reach for the stars ? I do want to go ahead with wordpress but I don’t want to lose my domain name. Thank you

  You have (probably accidentally) TWO different sites.
  You already have a site located at HostGator which will have different log in credentials to this account you’re using at WordPress.com.

  Your HostGator site is:
  silversurferscanreachforthestars.com (You can reach that site by adding /wp-admin to the address).

  Your other site is here where you are logged in now at WordPress.com
