Deleting my site to make new one with same name?

  I currently have a haphazardly put together blog of sorts and I think it would be easier to delete it completely and then make a new one but use the same name as the old one. Can I do this or once I delete my site can I no longer use that domain name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
