Deleting my WordPress

  I would like to delete my WordPress site so that when I google my name, the wordpress no longer appears. I don’t want WordPress to appear in search engine search of my name.

  Hi @phoenixrising2017,

  Well, google is like a black hole, what falls into it- can newer go back!
  Jokes aside, it may be hard to hide something that has been showed to google, as google makes a copy of all websites that allow search engines to “crawl” them. But if you update/delete an info on the blog you own- after some time google shall stop showing that info. But time frame is quite long- maybe a week or few weeks.
  That said, there is no need to delete a website to “hide” it.

  • Also you can contact Google and ask them to remove your personal info: https://support.google.com/websearch/troubleshooter/9685456
