deleting my wordpress account

  hello,
  I have been trying to delete this account for many months now and I still have not found a way how to. I do not want to continue this site so I have decided to delete the whole account. Can someone please help me delete it?

  Hi greycilla,

  WordPress.COM accounts cannot be deleted/closed permanently once created.

  But if you still wish to deactivate your account and leave WordPress, you can follow the instructions given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  IMPORTANT NOTE:
  Even if you deactivate your account your username is not removed from the database, so that it’s not available to any other users when they are registering for a new account. This is done to keep you from being impersonated by anyone else.
  You have already deleted the contents of the site.
