How to delete my wordpress account and website permanently. I have looked for answers and how to’s to delete my account but none of the information is helpful because I cannot even find the “tools” panel to delete my account. So is it possible if there is any way that I can delete my wordpress account? Please and thank you.

A verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

All you were required to provide to register an account here was an email address that can be replaced at any time.
Any personal information that you voluntarily posted can also be removed at any time.

1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove any indexed items from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

The thing is, I cannot find the “tools” panel to delete my account so basically I can’t follow this information http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/. Which pretty much blows. Is there any other possible way I can delete my account? Like emailing the wordpress technical support team to delete my account?

And how do I delete my wordpress account? Because I have tried looking for the “tools” section in the dashboard and I cannot find it. I would like some help please.

We don’t allow accounts to be fully deleted because we don’t deactivate usernames (they are kept so they cannot be recycled).
Here’s a few suggestions for you if you’d like to scrub the account:
1) Delete any blogs you may have: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
2) If you are trying to unsubscribe from emails sent to you from WordPress.com, go to http://wordpress.com/#!/read/subsettings/ and click on “Block emails”.
3) You can go to http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
4) To ensure the account is locked up tightly, generate a random password of 15-20 characters, and use that for your account password.
5) While you cannot completely delete your Gravatar profile, you can remove all of your profile information easily through the “Edit My Profile” page here:
