Deleting my WordPress Blog Account
-
I just recently began the process of beginning a blog through WordPresses website, and since I’m still a beginner and learning the process, it didn’t turn out the way I was intending it to. Thus, now that I’ve gotten more idea how WordPress works, I’d prefer to simply delete my current account and start over. But…..I can’t figure out how to do that. Can you please instruct me on deleting my current account so I can have a fresh start and less confusion? Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
There is no way to delete a WordPress account once created.
You can instead leave your account inactive by following this https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/I would suggest instead of deleting the account you can start afresh by emptying your site. You can empty your site by deleting all of its contents- posts, pages, media etc. This way you can clean up your site and not lose your site address.
Follow this link for step by step description : https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/Once you empty your site you can start from scratch.
Refer this link : https://wordpress.com/start/site/Hope this helps!

Hello,
I’d prefer to simply delete my current account and start over.
If you tell me what you are unhappy with, I’ll see I can help you start over :) For example, do you want to change your username or the address of your site?
Deleting sites and deactivating your account is possible but the process cannot be reversed so it’s good to explore the other options first.
