Deleting my wordpress.com blog

    Hi,

    I originally made a wordpress.com site: samstolton.wordpress.com – after which I migrated the content to a different domain – inkyneedles.com. That domain has now expired which is what I want, and I am left with some of the original content on samstolton.wordpress.com

    I want to delete samstolton.wordpress.com completely or at least remove all content from the site. When logging into my wordpress.com wp-admin dashboard however, there are no drop down options at all – merely ‘profile’ and ‘profile settings’.

    I want to remove everything from the site – what can I do?

    What happens when you go here: https://samstolton.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    You can make your site private so it’s no longer visible to anyone. Go to Settings > Reading and tick the box next to “I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose”. Then click “Save Changes” at the bottom.     If you’d rather delete your blog, go to Tools > Delete Site. Note that this action is permanent. You won’t be able to use the domain ever again.
