Deleting of blogs from trash
-
Perhaps you guys need to to re-look at the fact that if you move a blog to trash after 30 days its deleted. NOT IMPRESS WITH THIS at all!!!!! This must be somewhere on the server, but I cant have it back, because the system automatically delete it after 30 days. So very dissapionted with WORD PRESS.

Deleted blogs cannot be restored or reused. Deleting a blog is permanent and the name cannot be used again. There are several warnings about this on the Tools -> Delete Site page and in the help pages, and you are required to confirm the deletion by email.
You can start a new blog by logging in to WordPress.com and then going to http://en.wordpress.com/signup/
With any blog, you can also use your custom domain with Domain Mapping upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

I’m sorry for the confusion. It seems you are referring to blog posts, and not the blog itself. What’s the title of the blog post you are referring to?

It seems the post hasn’t been deleted. I still see it in your blog: https://hippyilse.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1094&action=edit .

The one that I refer to was written in October 2012. Moved to trash in November and gone now;-(

I see. If you have previously moved an item to your trash folder, you can restore it within 30 days from the time the item was trashed. After 30 days the posts in trash will be automatically permanently deleted.
