Deleting old company blog without log-in information
-
I am the current administrator for an organization who managed a WordPress page over 6 years ago. It has been inactive for 6 years.
The administrator from back then is now unreachable- and they have all of the log-in information for the page. After several attempts to send password reset emails (in order to reach this person) we have been unsuccessful.
The WordPress page for our organization needs to be taken down because it contains inaccurate information that has been misleading to people looking to contact us.
My question is: how can we remove the old WordPress site without having any help from the person who created it?

Hello!
The only option you have if you do not have the mail and password is to use the account recovery form found here. You can submit it to the Account Recovery Staff and they can contact you by email to see if they can work with you to recover the account.
I hope this helps!
