Deleting Old Website
-
We are a Student society that is trying to delete its old website. We have created a new website and want to delete our old one, both through WordPress. The problem is as time as passed our Committee has changed and all of the login details have been lost – email and password. So the ‘forgotten password’ route does not work. This shouldn’t be a big issue, except when you search for us our old website comes up top and our new website is halfway down.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Perhaps a staff member can help you with this. I’ll tag the post for someone to take a look.

Hey there,
Provided you can prove proof of ownership, you can recover your blog login info by filling out the Account Recovery Form by clicking on the link below. If you’ve misplaced your log-in information, the email address or username you’ve entered isn’t recognized, and you’re not registered for SMS account recovery, you can access your account using the Account Recovery Form, accessible by clicking the “Need More Help?” button on the Password Reset page. On this form, you can provide certain pieces of information, under Proof of Ownership, to verify that you are the owner of the blog in question:
Blogs/sites are the property of the person who sets them up. If someone else set up the blog (and is the owner), they will need to transfer ownership to you or someone else.
