Deleting old website
-
Hello,
There is a website at this url https://submittalexchange.wordpress.com/submittal-exchange/ , that was posted by a terminated employee and we would like to deactivate it. Submittal Exchange is a subsidiary within Textura. Please advice as to how I would get this website taken down.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and delete the site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

P.S. For clarity note that companies, groups and organizations do not own blogs. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and their associated email address.
The blog’s owner must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog, and purchased upgrades to renew them, or to transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account, or to use the lost password link, or the account recovery form, or to delete the blog that they registered. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

Thanks, but I don’t have the login (username or email) information. How would I get it taken down in this case?
-
You can’t. Staff cannot violate the privacy policy and delete any blog without permission of the sole owner of the blog.

Hello, Will WordPress accept a letter from legal indicating that the site was created by a former employee and represents our company inaccurately.
How long will the site remain if we just ignore it?
-
No. That will not be accepted. Staff cannot violate the privacy policy. Please contact the blog’s actual owner and have them act on what I posted above.
-
We aren’t for sure that this former employee is the original owner. What could we do in this case?
-
I already provided all the required information here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/deleting-old-website-1?replies=8#post-2398177
The last resort is completing the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Note this is the author who posted the blog posts https://submittalexchange.wordpress.com/author/secontentmgr/
And, this is the relevant username account ie. the actual blog owner https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/secontentmgr
