Deleting old website

    Hello my name is Dalton and I am trying to delete my old website information. As of right now someone else has the domain name and I can’t get in to erase all of my old content. Please advise thanks.

    1. What is the domain URL?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?

    Hello timethief and thank you for chiming in. This may sound weird but I had a (paid) WordPress site that was hosted through Go Daddy and that’s the one that I need to delete.

    1. The domain is cartermediacon.com and everything you see on that site is my old content that I need to remove.

    2. Because it was a paid site setup through Go Daddy there was no wordpress.com url.

    3. I’m not sure what you’re asking. But I do have a separate wordpress blog site setup that has nothing to do with the other.

    Does this make any sense at all?

    That site is not on our servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, and many people get confused about the two.

    This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

    Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
