Deleting one of the sites I created

I’m not sure if this is the proper terminology, but I created two different sites (blogs?) and I already did some work on one of them. I didn’t mean to create 2, but I’m a little hesitant to hit delete site because I’m afraid it’s going to delete everything. My question is, when I click on the site (blog?) I want to delete and go to the Dashboard and Tools, it won’t delete my other site (blog?), correct? I just don’t want to have to recreate everything I’ve already done because I deleted my entire footthumb.com site and not my just the deLECTRIC blog I didn’t mean to create. I want to keep the second one, PIXEL8, but get rid of the deLECTRIC. Please let me know if deleting wipes my entire footthumb.com site, or just the blog I’ve selected. Thanks.

Your hope is correct, if you delete Dlectric (running on footthumb.wordpress.com) then you will not be deleting PIXEL8 / footthumb.com (running on footthumbdotcom.wordpress.com).
You can have multiple sites on a single username and deleting one does not delete the other.
However, if the idea is worrying, you can also just adjust the unnecessary site’s settings to “Private:”
