Deleting or Transferring Blog on WordPress.com

This is my problem. I have a blog on WordPress.com (ronrogersgallery.wordpress.com). I started an other blog by adding a blog to the first one. The new one is called the rogerschronicles.wordpress.com. This scenario did not work for me – that being adding a blog to a parent, So I started a new blog with a new username. This would have been except that I used the wrong username – and so I have a mess without going into all of the details, it would appear that I cannot delete the old blog, at least I don’t think I can. So what I want to do is as follows:
remove therogerschronicles from username redshift2 and delete the new blog I just created on the new username redshit3. Then create a new account and do it right. If any of this makes sense please help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You don’t have Parent blogs and Child blogs on WP.com; they are all equal.
Don’t delete ANYTHING. Trust me, some day you’ll find a use for it and if you delete it is gone for good; all the contents, the name, the URL, everything. Neither you nor anyone else can use it again.
So you have username redshift2 and you want to delete which blog, exactly? Give us the URL of the blog you want to delete, starting with http.

Thank you. I will start at the beginning. I have a blog http://ronrogersgallery.wordpress.com. I added a blog to that called http://therogerschronicles.wordpress.com using the same username – redshift2.
I find that having two blogs on the same account can be confusing so I intended to create a new blog with the same title (address) therogerschronicles.wordpress.com but screwed up and created a new address called redshift3.wordpress.com. What I wanted was to have two separate accounts on called http://ronrogersgallery.wordpress.com and one called therogerschronicles.wordpress.com. At present I have the original account with http://ronrogersgallery.wordpress.com and one called therogerschronicles.wordpress.com and another called called redshit3.wordpress.com. The content in the redshift3.wordpress.com is correct but the address is wrong. I hope this helps. -
Your ACCOUNT is just the username, not the blog name.
You cannot create two separate blogs with the same URL.
The user redshift2 will have to make redshift3 the Administrator of http://therogerschronicles.wordpress.com/ and then you can contact staff and get them to remove redshift2 from http://therogerschronicles.wordpress.com/ .
Does that make sense? Then you’ll have http://redshift3.wordpress.com left over, but you can just set it as Private and keep it for a practice or test blog.

I think I do, but please keep in mind that what I want in the end is to have two usernames: redshift2 with the URL http://ronrogersgallery.worpress.com and the other username: redshift3 wit the URL http://therogerschronicles.wordpress.com/

Hi – I have related question!
I have one account and under this account I have 3 blogs. 2 which were created a while back and the new one which is an updated version of the others therefore making the other 2 obsolete.
I would like to keep just the latest one to avoid any confusion, specially as searches lead to the old ones.I am aware of losing the new content or my account and want to make sure this will not happen before I do anything.
Also, could you please guide me through the steps in case it’s possible as I can’t seem to find an option to delete it only to transfer it.
I know there is a myriad of posts on the same topic so apologies in advance, but just need to have it clear!

I agree with raincoaster. See here for changing blog visibility AKA privacy settings, choose option # 3, and then do not give out the URLs
