deleting page to switch from wordpress.com to .org

  I want to switch over to .org, I don’;t have any posts on my .com site yet so is it easier to just delete this page and start again? will i still be able to use the same site name? thanks :-)

  I recommend just hiding it instead of deleting it.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as whatmumsdo.wordpress.com).

  Do you own whatmumsdo.com ?
  At .org, you are free to use any domain that you own or manage to buy.
