Deleting Photographs from Media Library

  Hello there.

  I am wondering about images deleted from my media library. If I delete them from there permanently to free uploading space, will these images disappear from my blog posts or just my media library?

  I wish to empty my media library to clear space for more uploads however I don’t want all my images disappearing from my blog posts.

  Hi,

  If you do so, your images are going to disappear and leave a small white square.

  I see two options for you:

  – delete images which are not essential for you blog. This is a pretty short term solution though.

  – add storage space to your blog. If you want to do so, please refer to the following support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/
  If you don’t want to subscribe to a plan, you can also go to Store→ Store in your blog’s Dashboard
. You will find Space Upgrades to increase your available storage space and add the ability to upload audio files.
