Deleting post author

  How can I delete the post author, which is me. I don’t want it to be displayed at all. Is it the theme or am I missing something? Thank you and have a great day!

  We cannot answer you because you did not provide an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question. Consequently we cannot see the blog so we have no clue as to which theme you are using. All themes do not display author names only some do > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/

  Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

  Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

  This is the result of clicking your username:

  kayaburgin.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this blog.

  Oops its myfairlibrarian.wordpress.com and I have multiple blogs so that would not work for me.

  Your choices are:
  1. change to using another them that does not display and author byline (see the list I linked to above);
  2. purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing to remove the author name display.
