Deleting posts
-
I posted a .jpg picture that was too large for the space on my site. I have since deleted the post but it will not delete itself from my site. I have since resized the .jpg and reposted the entry but the original entry is still rendering on my site. How long does it take for a new post to appear on my site and how long does it take for a deleted post to remove itself?

Deleting an image from a post or page does not remove it from the server. You will need to enter your Media Library and delete it from there.

Immediately after publishing a post it ought to appear on the main page for posts in the blog. I see a post titled “Wanted” and dated June 1st on the front page of your blog. We have separate folders for Trash. When you delete a post, page, comment, or media file from your blog, it will be moved to the Trash folder. To permanently delete a post, page, or upload, you will need to enter your Trash status/queue and place your cursor over any item you wish to delete forever and click the Delete Permanently link.

Ok, I have deleted all posts I made. I also deleted them from the trash. I have zero posts active or in the trash. When I deleted the last post, the resized .jpg image appeared on my site and when you click to “continue reading” no post is found. Where is wordpress getting the image from if I deleted it and why is it still showing up oin my site?

The bottom left under press releases is the pic that wont go away. That is the resized image but its still too big for the area its in. I have no active blog posts or trash so I dont know where its coming from.
