Deleting premium

  I am trying to delete my website but I’m being told ‘You have active premium upgrades on your site. Please cancel your upgrades prior to deleting your site.’ I go to my purchases but I only have one ‘one-time’ payment in there from two years ago that says never expires, and there is no button under purchases that says ‘Cancel blablabla.wordpress.com domain’. How do I go forward with removing my domain so I can delete my site?

  Hi there,

  Your own premium themes you purchased indefinitely.

  You have three options:

  1. Make the site private so you can use the premium theme if you change your mind in the future. https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  2. Have Staff transfer the premium theme to another site of yours registered under the same username account.

  3. Have Staff remove the theme knowing you will not be able to use it in the future.

  Hi there,

  I’ve removed the Premium Theme from your account, so you should now be able to delete your site.
