Deleting Site

Hello, I’m trying to delete my site. It says I have ‘upgrades’ and to go to ‘purchases’ to cancel upgrades. When I go to purchases, my only option is to upgrade and not to cancel. So how do I delete my site? It won’t allow me to. Thank you.

You are only an admin on the site, http://hearthandparlor.wordpress.com/
That site is owned by another user, literaturegloss, and that user owns a custom domain on the site. You will need to be logged in as that user to cancel the domain, and then you’ll be able to delete the site.
Please note that cancelled domains don’t become available again immediately, and you should only cancel a domain if you don’t ever want to use it again.

Thank you. I deleted literaturegloss several months ago. Before I deleted it, I changed my admin status on hearthandparlor. I owned/own both sites. I bought each domain through WordPress. I can’t cancel on literaturegloss because that site is deleted. What do you advise me to do? Thanks….

The site, literaturegloss.wordpress.com is deleted, but not the username account. WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted.
You need to log out of this username account, then on the login screen type in literaturegloss as the username instead of jbhearth, and type in the correct password for that account.
