Deleting site
-
Hello – I had a Word Press site several years ago and would like to delete it. I haven’t used it in years so I don’t know my username or password. Can you please delete it for me? There some stuff on there that is embarrassing to me now.
Here’s the link:
justincalderone.wordpress.com
Thanks – Justin

Hello @thedude776,
Do you still remember the email address you used? You can try to do an account recovery by following the instructions from this link.
You will need to have access to your account in order to delete the blog.
Regards,

Hi Justin,
I haven’t used it in years so I don’t know my username or password.
justincalderone.wordpress.com is owned by justincalderone. If you haven’t already done so, you can try resetting the password using these steps:
For security reasons, I can’t tell you which email address the password reset email will be sent to, so please check all of your email accounts (including the spam folder).
If you no longer have access to the email address we’ll need you to fill out the Account Recovery form:
Can you please delete it for me?
We are unable to delete a site without its owners consent, no matter how long has been since the last update.
Come back to me if you have any questions.

I tried account recovery but unfortunately I don’t have any of the 3 proof of ownership components. So am I out of luck?

Hi Justin,
Without proof of ownership, we won’t be able to delete the site. The only other thing I can do is send an email to the address we have on our system for the owner of the account. Would you like me to do that?

Unfortunately I haven’t used that email address in years. It probably isn’t even active anymore

Hi Justin,
I’ve sent some more information to the email address on the account you are currently logged in to, I’ll follow up with you there.
Thanks!
