Deleting site

I want to delete the site because I hate the name and the website address and can’t seem to change either. Plus it’s publishing stuff I never chose. Help?

Hey there,
When you say “name” what exactly are you referring to? If you are referring to the title of the website you can change this by heading to your Customizer and selecting Site Identity.
Also, if you would like to change your site address you can do so within your My Site dashboard under the Domains tab. For further direction please review the following documentation: https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-site-address/.
What exactly do you mean when you say publishing stuff you never chose? Can you provide a little further information. Since your site is pretty fresh to begin with the only post I see is the example post “The Journey Begins”, is this what you are referring to? If so, this is provided just to see what a post would look like on your site and can be removed at anytime within you My Site dashboard under the Blog Posts section.
Otherwise, If you are set on deleting your site and starting anew you can do so by following the directions outlined in this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/.
