  how to i delete website? I’m moving to a new website but same domain name.

  You can delete at site following https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/ but if you do that, you won’t be able to re-use the name.

  Alternatively, we can empty a site for you so you can start over under that name.

  If you’d like to do that, please let us know the URL of the site you want to empty.

  So the deal is that I own the domain through godaddy. I want to have my site through godaddy now as well because WordPress just isn’t a good fit. So how do I shut down my wordpress site so that my domain will go to my new godaddy site?

  What is the URL of the site you are trying to delete from your WordPress.com account? suneatsfarm.wordpress.com?

  I can confirm that this site is totally separate from the GoDaddy site at suneatsfarm.com, so as long as you do not need any content (pages, blog posts, uploaded media) from suneatsfarm.wordpress.com it can be safely deleted here:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/suneatsfarm.wordpress.com
