deleting site

  Hello! I have an important question. Google after updates do not really show off my page- it has no impressions (my new site- glambutfirstcoffee.com) Then I noticed I still have the old one, a non-paid WordPress one! Can I delete it or would it affect the other- new site? I have moved all the content a long time ago and also exported it. I just think maybe it is the reason why Google see me as a spam/scam?

  Hi @glambutfirstcoffee, I can’t speak to how that would affect your search engine rankings. Could I recommend redirecting the site instead? That would solve any duplicate content issues and (assuming no glaring SEO issues with the new site) preserve (and in some cases update) your existing search engine and social media links to the old site:
  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/

  Also, you’ll want to note we handle quite a bit of the SEO for our clients as part of our service. A default installation for of the free WordPress software does not, so you’ll want to look for any issues you’ve got there and get them taken care of. Webmaster tools can be a good start.
