Deleting site

  I have been attempting to delete one of my wordpress sites. It was on a Creator trial previously which I ended in the process of deleting it. However, on the Delete page, I have been getting this message:

  ‘We are still in the process of removing your previous plan. Please check back in a few minutes and you’ll be able to delete your site.’

  This message has persisted for a full day and a half now. There’s no way to check on the status of this issue and it seems to be stuck.

  Thanks for reaching out. The issue at hand requires us to first downgrade the site fretensis.wpcomstaging.com. Before we proceed, it’s essential that you understand the following:

  1. Any content (pages, posts, media, comments, etc.) added after incorporating outside themes and plugins will be lost.
  2. Any custom content created by plugins and themes will not be transferred.
  3. Plugins and third-party themes can no longer be used.
  4. The site will revert to using the old theme.

  After we revert the site, you’ll have the option to delete it by following the steps outlined here (as this is not something we can do for you): https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/
