deleting site

  I am considering deleting my site as I cannot dedicate the time need to keep up. There is a warning that appears that says my web address won’t be available. Does that mean it will never be available for me to restart? Or that it will be unavailable on line until I decide to restart it?

  That’s correct — it won’t be able to you again.

  I’d recommend you just set it to private under Visibility at: https://wordpress.com/settings/general

  That way, only you and those you invite (if any) can see it.
