Deleting Site

  Under my current email, I have a free wordpress.com for a specific domain. I want to delete this site and use the same domain, but under a different email account. The warning mentions that if I delete the site then the domain will be unavailable. How can I use the domain on a different account without losing the ability to use the domain.

  Hi there,

  First try emptying — not deleting — your site by following this guide:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  Then, if you want to keep it on the same account, but just change that account’s email address, you can do that here:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account
