deleting site and canceling domain to start over

Hello, I am planning to set up a new wordpress site for a small business i’m starting, but I have an old blog that I no longer need or want. I want to cancel my domain and delete that site and then want to set up a new one and start completely fresh. I tried following the steps to delete my site but it was telling me I could not delete a site that has a domain registration which I guess is what I have. Can you pls advise me on how to get this whole thing deleted so I can just start over? Thanks! :)

Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain justkeepbreathing.net it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using justkeepbreathing.net again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.
Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.
