deleting sites — any way to recover content?
-
My son, who has a mood disorder, deleted his site in a moment of despair. Is there any way to recover the site or at least the content?

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated at http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/.
You can register another .wordpress.com URL and then purchase an upgrade plan so you can map to an existing domain.
Register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Purchase a domain mapping upgrade knowing it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

Staff cannot recover the content.
If search engines indexed the content you may be able to copy and paste into new pages and posts from Googles cache or from the Internet Archives Wayback machine. https://archive.org/web/
