Deleting Someone Else's Blog

    Can I get WordPress to delete a blog that’s not mine? I want to use the domain Mode Fin but someone already created a domain. However, that user has nothing on their site: no posts, no customization or personalization whatsoever. I don’t know if they just started it or created it awhile ago and forgot about it, but is there anyway for WordPress or someone to contact them and ask them if they are no longer using their site so I can use that domain name for my blog? Thanks.

    No, you cannot ask WordPress to destroy someone else’s site just because you want it. Pick a different domain.

    If you can find the contact details for the owner, you can negotiate for the URL. Otherwise, you are out of luck.
