Deleting Tagline & Making Horizontal Questions

  Hello, I’ve got a twofer for anyone that can help:

  I’m using the Tetris theme, which automatically includes a banner for my site’s tagline. I’d like to get rid of both the tagline and the white banner itself.

  Also, my menu options are displaying as a vertical list in my header. What’s the best way to turn them into a horizontal list?

  I’m very new to WordPress and CSS, so if your response includes editing the code, please be very specific about what steps I need to take.
