Deleting tags
-
I made a mistake and copy pasted the wrong tags into a bunch of posts. Now when I go to edit a post, anytime I click the x for a tag which is a mistake, the page jumps to the bottom of the tags. I scroll up and the tag I clicked the x for is still there. Does anyone know if there is a way to ask someone who works at WordPress if this bug will ever be fixed?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Adding “modlook” to the tags section of a forum thread will bring it to the attention of a staff member. I’ve done so with this one.

Hi there,
Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies to see if it makes any difference to this behavior? I’m assuming this is in the new editor, right? And what browser are you using?
If that doesn’t help, you can also try editing/deleting the tags via the WP-Admin dashboard:
http://esotericarchive.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Click on Posts ->Tags in that dashboard’s sidebar to edit tags themselves, or Posts ->All Posts ->Quick Edit to edit tags on a particular post without having to edit the entire post.

For some odd reason I tried again and now it works, even though I didn’t change anything. Thanks for replying though.
Is there a way to get someone to delete this and my other threads? I don’t need any of them anymore, yet there is no way for me to delete them…

We don’t delete threads in the forum, as other users might also be helped by looking at this thread. We only delete threads if they represent a valid security concern, e.g. if they contain a bunch of personal information that shouldn’t be online.
