  Hi,

  I’d like to delete my accont. How do I do that?

  Hi there,

  If you delete a site it removes it permanently and you cannot reuse its WordPress.com address. If, however, you’d like to just empty the contents and start over that is easy enough to explain. Let me know which you want to do and I can give you more information.

  Hi,

  Thank you very much for your answer, but I actually would like to delete the complete WordPress Account/ID.
  I was already able to delete my site, but not the account/ID itself.

  Hi again,

  Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Here’s some more information for you.

  Actually, user accounts cannot be deleted. To leave WordPress.com, you can stop using your account which will leave it inactive.

  You can also remove all of your personal information from your Account Settings and change your password to a random string which would mean you couldn’t access it anymore.
