deleting the content of my site

    hi, i had this site in wordpress meirim265639038.wordpress.com
    and now i want to make sure that its content is totally deleted, as i built a new site in wordpress ; meirimcenter.co.il
    and i don’t want to have double things in the net.
    how can i make sure that everything in the old site is really deleted?
    and that i don’t pay fot the old site and domain anymore?

    Hi there, If you want to completely delete your WordPress.com site, its address and its content, knowing that you can’t recover the site address or content in the future, you can follow this guide to deleting your site. https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/ Anyone who visits your WordPress.com site will see a placeholder page saying that the site was deleted by the author.

    But before doing that, if you have the jetpack plugin installed on your new site, Staff can assist you in transferring any followers you had on your WordPress.com site to your new site. Please post back here if this is relevant.

    Another option is to change your WordPress.com site visibility to Private, which keeps out both human and search crawler traffic. https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

    As far as payment goes, look at your Purchases dashboard https://wordpress.com/me/purchases to see if there are any active plans there. If so, you can cancel them directly from that dashboard. https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#cancel-a-purchase

    If you want to delete the content of your WordPress.com website, you can do so by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your WordPress.com account and go to the website you want to delete.

    2. Click on the “Settings” tab and then select “Delete Site Permanently ” from the menu on the left-hand side of the page.

    3. Enter your your blog name and click on the “Delete Site” button.

    4. Confirm your decision and your website will be deleted.
