Deleting the website

  Hey,

  I have a website called http://www.khytaimaloo.com & the same one with http://www.khyatimaloo.wordpress.com – I don’t wish to keep the second one. But does deleting mean I will loose the data to my .com website also? Are they connected? How do I find out?

  Correct account: Yes

  It appears you are referring to https://khyatimaloo.com/, is that correct?

  If so, deleting https://khyatimaloo.wordpress.com/ will not affect the data you have on your self hosted site. Both sites are hosted on two different hosts, https://khyatimaloo.com/ on Siteground and https://khyatimaloo.wordpress.com/ is hosted on WordPress.com.

  However, instead of deleting the site, I would make it private. In case, you want to make delete your site, you can find the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/
