Deleting title above custom banner
-
Hi. I’m still tinkering my blog, which is using the Prologue theme:
http://colgateuniversity.wordpress.com/
I have added a custom banner. But how do I delete the ‘gate twitter title or headline that is still appearing above the banner? I don’t wnat that there.
Is this a CSS thing, and if so, how can I go in and delete that?
Thanks for any help.

replace this,
h1 a:visited { color: #21759b; }with this
h1 a:visited { display: none; } -
You can go to settings > general and delete the blog title, but this will hurt with search engine juice.
To “hide” it would require the paid CSS upgrade. The title would then still be seen by search engines, it just wouldn’t be displayed on the blog.

It doesn’t look like they have the CSS upgrade or at least there is no evidence from looking at the blog via Firebug.

I have not upgraded to the paid CSS. Maybe I’ll have to do that. I suppose keywords might help a bit wiht the search, but dropping the title certainly isn’t ideal. Thanks!
