Deleting/ transferring blog name
-
I deleted a blog, and decided to start a fresh site using that domain (free with the .wordpress.com) but it won’t let me use that name. After speaking to an ‘expert’ with wordpress they said that once a site is deleted that the domain name .wordpress.com is unusable for two years. Is there any way I can get jamiemartelli.wordpress.com back? it is my name, so I would like to be able to use it. I was not aware of this, otherwise I would have just cleared the old site and used that.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, that’s not possible. Prior to deletion warnings are issued. Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Adding a New Site or Blog to an Existing Account https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#adding-a-new-site-or-blog-to-an-existing-account
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
