Deleting URL-domain from wordpress so I can use with alternative provider.

    I have deleted my wordpress site, removed domain connection from wordpress and reconnected my domain URL with another website program. However, when typing in my URL, it takes me to the wordpress site with ‘…… is no longer available, the authors have deleted this site’. How can I completely remove the wordpress connection to my URL/domain??

    It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.
