Deleting User

Hi,
I’m trying to remove a user from one of our WordPress sites ‘singaporeinternationalarbitration’, but I do not get the option to delete this particular person. I am the administrator for this site and I have the option to remove other users. The user I’m trying to remove is also an administrator.Thanks

Hi there,
The reason you would have trouble removing administrators is if you are not an administrator yourself or if the administrator you’re trying to remove is the owner of the account. If that is the case, the owner will need to transfer ownership of the blog over to another admin, which will automatically remove them as a user of the site.

Hi there,
I checked and you are not the owner of the account. Once the owner transfers the site over to you, they will automatically be removed as a user. Until then, there is nothing you can do on your end to remove the owner.

The site was transferred to the IT Applications Team which is my account. If you are talking about this Web Team account then this is what we use to post tickets for support.

Hi there,
Yes, the account that you are contacting us from is not the owner of the account. It has admin privileges, but only the owner can remove themselves as a user on the account.
If you are not sure about the what account the site is under, what I can do is e-mail the address associated with the account so that you can check all of your e-mails and see which one receives the message. All you would need to do is respond from that e-mail to verify ownership. Then, I will definitely be able to assist you in regaining access.
