  If I delete the website will I be able to get the domain again?

  If you delete your website/blog you will loose your domain.

  Or you can empty all the content from the website/blog with these directions https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ Emptying the site will allow you to keep the domain.
  Edit privacy settings to make your site private.
