Deleting website

Hello! I am trying to delete my website from WordPress. I have already transferred my domain to another platform and another registrar. However, when I get to the point where I need to click on ‘Delete Site’, I get the following message:
‘intellegant.com will be unavailable in the future.This action can not be undone. Deleting the site will remove all content, contributors, domains, and upgrades from the site.
If you’re unsure about what will be deleted or need any help, not to worry, our support team is here to answer any questions you might have.’I am afraid that by deleting, the system will delete the domain as well. Is this the case? My website and domain are on another platform so technically, if I delete here, my domain and website on the other platform should be safe correct?

Hi there,
Your site ‘intellegant.com’ points to wixdns.net. So, yes your domain is transferred to another registrar.
As per my knowledge deletion of the site from WordPress.com account won’t affect your site.I’ve still added modlook tag in sidebar to get a confirmation about this from Staff.

Hi there,
I see we’ve already replied to you via email as well, but it’s safe to delete your WordPress.com site if you are sure you’ve backed up/migrated any content on it that you still want. Your domain already transferred out on the 14th, but our system did not automatically remove the upgrade from your account for some reason. The domain is not registered with us any more, though, so deleting the WordPress.com site will not affect the domain in any way.
