Deleting Website/Closing Account

  Hi, can someone please assist me in closing my account and deleting my website? Thank you!

  First you will have to delete your site. To delete your site, go into your site settings.

  Then click delete site.

  Then you can delete your account. To delete your account, first click on your profile icon at the top of the page. Under account settings, you should see a close account button, then click on it.

  We can help with preparing the site selfishdiaries.wpcomstaging.com for deletion. Because you had the WordPress.com Business plan on this site and used features that are only available on the Business plan, we need to revert the site first before you can delete it.

  This will revert back to the point when you installed your first plugin or custom theme on January 19, 2021.

  Your site’s content, theme, and customizations, such as widgets and menus, will return to the state they were in on this date. This process will also remove all plugins and custom themes, as well as any content added through them, and you will no longer be able to add plugins or custom themes to this site unless you upgrade again in the future.

  Please let us know if you would like to proceed with this process and whether you would like to preserve any content added while on the Business plan.

  I have downgraded the site as requested.

  If you’d like to just delete the site, you can by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/

  Or, if you’d like to close your account, you can by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/
