Deleting website content without deleting the website name

  I want to delete all the content on my site without losing the domain name. I would also like to take it offline until I have time to reformat things. I can I do this?

  Empty: http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  Set to Private

  Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Visible only to those I invite

  Remember to save changes
