Deleting website with login I no longer have access to

  Good afternoon,

  I was recently googling my name and found a website that I had created around five years ago. I don’t think that I have access to the email address listed on the account (deleted as well), so I can’t use the ‘forgot password’ option.

  Any ideas on how I would go about deleting this website/resetting my password in a different way? I’m hoping that WordPress would let me send them a copy of my driver’s license or something to prove that it’s me.

  We do have a process for this. You can submit your request to the Account Recovery Form found here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  You can find more information about the process and what you will need to prove account ownership here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

  And once you have access to the account you can delete the site following these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
