All widgets can be deleted here > Appearance > Widgets
Also note you that in some widgets there are visibility settings that define which pages the widget will be displayed on. -
then how to edit their visibility on my posts ? i followed what you said but it’s still shows in the left side bar.. Keep in mind in this theme (responsive) i can’t edit post page attributes .

? There are no published posts and no sidebar on http://halamalaysia.wordpress.com.
(By the way, visibility settings aren’t available in “some widgets”, they are available in all widgets.)

i changed the in archive with recent posts in the main side bar .. i guess that’s the only solution .. i thank you all for the quick response.

Yes. When you haven’t added any widgets yourself, the sidebar displays on or more default items (on Responsive it’s the Archives widget). You get rid of it by replacing it with the widget(s) you prefer. you cannot disable the whole sidebar, except if you have the Custom Design upgrade.
If having no sidebar is important to you, you need a different theme. -
thanks for the tip I’ll keep that in mind.. meanwhile I’m still learning the ropes once i know what I’m doing I’ll upgrade to premium.
