deleting wordpress

  I just recently went from a wordpress.com site to a self hosted site. I exported all of my content to the new site. If I delete my wordpress.com site, will any of the content I exported to my new site be deleted?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Aloha tommysportstalk, It will not be deleted from your new site. You won’t be able to retrieve it in the future though, so I would make sure you have a backup (or two) just to be on the safe side.

  Thanks a bunch! I did backup my new self hosted site and I also have everything on my export file. I just wanted to delete my wordpress.com site because I figured it didn’t help my SEO with two sites with the same content.
