Deleting WordPress domain after transferring it to GoDaddy

Hi,
I transferred my WordPress domain name to GoDaddy and supposedly everything worked out and GoDaddy now owns it. Well, yesterday I canceled my premium plan with my WordPress account associated with that domain name I just transferred. Today I tried canceling my WordPress domain name (that I was paying for outside of my premium plan) but WordPress says I have to cancel my plan first? But I already canceled my premium plan yesterday?? So when I go to my ‘my plan’, there is no plan and the only thing that comes up is ‘Upgrade to a plan’. Does it take a few days for WordPress to fully delete your plan?
Also, if GoDaddy now owns my domain name that I transferred and the nameservers point to GoDaddy why is it when I type that domain name into the browser URL it still brings up my old WordPress account for it? Is it because I still haven’t fully ‘canceled my domain name’??Please help me permanently delete my WordPress domain name so I can have my website on GoDaddy show up instead.

Okay, so once I permanently delete my WordPress domain name then it will show my website on GoDaddy? Or are there other steps I need to take?

I was messing around with the domain settings and set it to http://whatareusaying.wordpress.com/ to see if that could change anything, but it didn’t. So now I just set my primary domain back to http://whatareusaying.com/, try going to it now. I so want to delete this domain from wordpress but every time I try to “delete my website” a little box pops up saying “you have an active plan, please cancel it before you delete your website”. So when I click “manage plans” nothing displays since I canceled my premium plan 2 days ago….. why is that happening?

Ah, okay. That site has two domain upgrades owned by another user, whatareusaying.
The domains are whatareusaying.com and whatrusaying.com
You’ll need to log in as that username, and then either cancel those domains if you no longer want to use them, or transfer them to your new hosting provider if you don’t want to keep them here. But the site cannot be deleted while those domains are still attached to it.
Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar
Keep in mind that you can leave the domains here and use them with a site somewhere else. As long as you set one of those domains as the primary domain at My Site ->Domains, your WordPress.com site will then automatically redirect traffic to your actual site at the domain.

Sorry for not responding back sooner. Thank you for the help, I logged into my “whatareusaying” account and I do see the two domains I am paying for (whatAREusaying.com & whatRUsaying.com).
My question is, if I cancel my domain subscription for “whatRUsaying.com” (since I already transferred it to GoDaddy over a month or so ago) will that cause any errors with GoDaddy and it displaying properly? Because I am paying to host that domain on GoDaddy so I don’t see the need to pay $18/year for it on my WordPress account too.
Also, will any errors happen with my website if I delete my other domain name, whatAREusaying.com?

That upgrade should actually have been removed automatically after you transferred the domain. I’ve fixed that now, so it shouldn’t appear in your account any more.
whatareusaying.com is pointing to your WordPress.com site, whatareusaying.wordpress.com, so it has no connection at all with your GoDaddy site except for a similar name. If you no longer want this domain, cancelling it shouldn’t affect your GoDaddy site in any way.
Keep in mind that if you cancel it, it will eventually become available again for anyone to register, so you should only cancel if you are completely sure you don’t want to use that domain again in future.
