Deleting wordpress site

Need help please! I can’t seem to access my site for termination. When I click on ‘My site’ WP tell me I have no site yet. The url still works fine but I need to remove it asap. Thanks Gerrit

If you would like to delete your WordPress.com site, there are options and instructions for doing so here:
Please bear in mind that once deleted, that site’s WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might want to choose one of the other options listed on the the page linked above.

Thanx for your help but like I said when I log in it says I have no sites and therefor I can’t do any of the things you suggest. My URL is still live…

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of the site you are looking to delete
So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to delete the site.

Is there no way that WP can do this on my behalf I can’t recall if I have or had another account in the past very unlikely?

Not if it’s not possible to determine if you are the site owner. WordPressdotcom Staff will not delete a site on behalf of another user.
The url still works fine

Yes that’s the one I am the owner of that site, all the info, pics is mine. The mobile number/email adress is mine too but the details are confusing to my clients and potential clients as my business model/ business name have changed…Please help!

Hi Gerrit,
That site was indeed created using a different username than you’re using to post here. Only that username will be able to delete the site.
If you look at the comments on the home page (beautiful geelvis, btw) and hover your mouse over the comment where you replied to another user you’ll see the gravatar image links to the profile of the username fspoppie. That’s the username you need to log into to access this site.
If you can’t remember the password for that username, you can try resetting it here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
That will only work if you still have access to the email address you used to register that username, though. If you no longer have access to that email, you’ll need to follow our Account Recovery steps instead.
