  Why can’t I delete my site?

  Sure. I’ve renamed it to closed33 but it’s momentortwo.wordpress.com
  I was sent a link by someone from WordPress to help and it still won’t work. I went through all the steps shown in the help section and those posted online and it will not work.

  It looks like there’s an old chargeback on your account, and that is why you’re unable to close it. If you go to https://wordpress.com/plans/momentortwo.wordpress.com, you’ll see the chargeback fee in your cart. You’d need to pay that first to be able to manage/close your account.
