Deletion of old gravatars

Hello,
my blog “daslebenselbst.wordpress.com” is no longer available and i would like to delete the gravatar: http://de.gravatar.com/daslebenselbst
But i can’t log in anymore at Gravatar.com because of lacking login data. Can you please delete this gravatar url?

Hi Johann,
Since that Gravatar is linked to a different Gravatar/WordPress.com account, we’re not able to make any changes without first confirming that you own that account. Gravatar uses WordPress.com accounts, so if you don’t remember the password you can reset it with this form:
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If that doesn’t work, you can contact our account recovery team here:
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Once you’re logged in to the account, you can make changes to the Gravatar images and hide the Gravatar profile: http://en.gravatar.com/support/profile-privacy/

Hi Rachel,
because the wordpress blog “daslebenselbst” is deleted, there is no more account and no reset or recorvery possible. I’ve used the recovery link, but it is asking for verification data reffering to this blog, which i cannot give anymore because there is no blog anymore. Just this old gravatar url, which is a dead one : http://de.gravatar.com/daslebenselbst

Hi Johann,
The WordPress.com account with that username is still active, even though the blog was deleted. If you’re unable to regain access to that account, I’m afraid there’s nothing more I can do to help (since I’m unable to make any changes without confirming first that you’re the account owner).

and enterd my WordPress.com username “daslebenselbst”
to get a new password. But i am receiving no mail from WordPress because the mail address i have had in 2011 is no longer valid :-(

In that case, the only way to regain access to the account is with the help of our account recovery team:

If you aren’t able to provide proof of account ownership, I’m afraid there’s nothing more I can do to help.

It will not rest, because I have checked the folder of 2011, and there I discovered the old mail address, re-activated it, and then it worked …
